Our story started with...
Carlos "Carlitos" Montoya, founder of DELICIAS Peruvian Desserts, his Mamá's family recipes, and a passion for "dulces". Since its founding in 1996, the Bakery has played a significant role to the introduction of Peruvian sweets and pastries to the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

Throughout the years, Delicias has grown into a premium regional brand, best known for their Alfajores, a traditional Peruvian shortbread sandwich cookie filled with "Manjar blanco" — a Peruvian-style variation of dulce - de - leche.
